I switched to this blog design so I could post large pictures. But did you know it's really hard to post large pictures using Blogger? Maybe I'm just doing it the hard way? I uploaded this one to Photobucket, then copied and pasted the code, plus resized it to 1000 px wide. It took a long time.

Anyone have an easier way?

Do you Twitter? Tweet? Are you Twittering?

I have tried it in the past, but didn't get it. I'm still not sure I get it, but I like it. It's an easy way to write quick updates, and I've set it up so the updates go straight to my blog (over on the right-hand side) and Facebook.

Like Facebook, I am sure that Twitter is more fun if more of your friends are involved, too, although I do enjoy following celebrity types like John Cleese, Pioneer Woman, Dooce, and Lance Armstrong. So if you Twitter, follow me: @ksmerrill, and send me your name so I can follow you, too!

Waffle Pancakes

Have you ever seen a pan as cool as this? That makes pancake waffles? Or waffle pancakes? It is one of my favorite birthday gifts.

Moving Day. Ty's, Not Mine.

Yesterday, Ty moved from his house (rented) in Sugarhouse to his new house (purchased!) in what he calls "Sugarhood." You may not remember this, but when I moved to Utah, Ty drove the moving truck home and he and I unloaded it. He was what I call a Very Good Helper.

So I was anxious to return the favor and help him on his moving day. However, my recent surgery has rendered my ability to assist on moving day pretty much useless.

So I took pictures.
